It's hard to believe, but it's the 11th year for the Solano Avenue Association's Santa on Solano.
This year, Santa will park his sleigh in Tilden (so the Reindeer can graze) and zoom down to Chloe's Closet on three weekends in December, the 8/9, 15/16, and 22/23. Santa arrives around noon, and heads back to his reindeer at 4:00.
Don't let the low price of the FREE event fool you. This is the REAL Santa. For showing up, you are welcome to free popcorn, a free printed photo, all the photos you want to take on your own camera, and, if you're brave enough, a treat from Santa himself.
For you store or restaurant owners, you should also know that several hundred families visit Santa each weekend, so you should look for ways to draw their attention and keep them on the street.
So whether you want to bring your child down for a picture with Santa (or yourself -- a lot of adults like a picture with the big guy too), or your excited for what this could do for your business, this is a great opportunity not to be missed!
