Albany Chamber of Commerce
The Albany Chamber of Commerce has approximately 150 business and community members. A completely independent organization (with no ties to State, National or other Chambers of Commerce), we host monthly business mixers and provide small business workshops, seminars and other professional development for business owners. The Chamber also produces events through the year for fundraising, community building and membership recruitment. And of course, we can't forget about the big scissors. We are happy to come to your new or remodeled business for a ribbon cutting. Check out the Chamber's events and programs.
The Albany Chamber works with local government to strengthen and enhance all the business districts in the City of Albany. The Chamber actively advocates for responsible development of our business districts and retention and recruitmenht of a lively business mix.
Among the Chamber’s goals are:
- Promoting business and community growth by promoting economic programs designed to strengthen and expand the income potential of all business within the trade area.
- Promoting programs of a civic, social and cultural nature which are designed to increase the functional and aesthetic values of the community
- Discovering and correcting impediments which prevent the promotion of business expansion and community growth.
