Friends of Albany Parks Clean-up & Community Discussion - Terrace Park

Terrace Park is a neighborhood treasure and we always look forward to putting in a little extra care to make it pop. The Friends of Albany Parks program encourages community members to get involved with the care, maintenance and beautification of their favorite neighborhood park.

The Clean-up (Beginning at 9am)

Friends of Albany Parks members will meet for a Clean-Up Day where each member who attends will receive an official Friends of Albany Parks T-shirt. For more information contact Brennen Brown or visit www.albanyca.org/volunteer. 

Community Discussion (Beginning at 12pm)

Once the clean-up is complete, we gather together for a community discussion geared toward developing ideas for further park improvements and how to get residents consistently involved in the maintenance. The Community Discussion helps foster a better sense of community and build social capital as neighbors meet and work together.
